In 2007, 21% of survey respondents in the St.Vincent Health region and 27.4% in the Indianapolis region said they would prefer St.Vincent Heart Center of Indiana facilities if they were in need of heart care. According to the Press Ganey survey of hospitals, patients are overwhelmingly satisfied with their experience at St.Vincent Heart Center of Indiana, placing St.Vincent among the top 5% of surveyed hospitals nationally.
  • Patients who would rate the likelihood of recommending St.Vincent as "excellent": 90%
  • Patients who rate the care they received as "excellent": 91%
  • Patients who rate the nursing care they received as "excellent": 94%
Press Ganey's satisfaction analysis for St.Vincent Heart Center of Indiana for the 12 months ending January 2008 noted that:
